Bernice foryoung

Bernice Foryoung is a registered nurse at a Baltimore City Emergency department and currently a Doctor of Nursing Practice student at the University of Maryland School of Nursing. Bernice joined Hope for Children Cameroon 2 years ago and through her time in the organization, she continues to champion the vision of the organization – one where every child is in school and learning. Bernice is very optimistic about the future of Africa one where children are learning the skills that they require to find and keep jobs and this requires decent primary education. Through her involvement in the organization, Bernice continues to support the work of the organizations as well as engage parents and teachers in the education of their children especially the education of the girl child. As Mother Teresa once said – “I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples.”
